The Kashmir Handmade was founded in Virginia, USA to bring the centuries-old timeless Kashmiri art to this side of the world. Our vision is to help preserve the unique skills of Kashmiri craftsmen and to revive century old traditions of Kashmiri art that can continue to thrive only with patronage, an obsession to conserve traditional skills that inflict minimal harm to the environment and a dream to make a difference in the lives and families of the skilled artisans of Kashmir.

Our crafts are hand-picked, obsessively curated collection of the most beautiful handicrafts  from Kashmir.

Though Kashmir products have been created for centuries, our family business was created in 2015 in United States. Our first retail Kiosk outlet opened in 2018 in the Leesburg Premium Outlet mall in Leesburg, VA. We maintain close ties with our Kashmir artisans and master craftsmen who make the magic happen. They are busy reviving ancient designs, textures, and weaves; our job is to showcase their work on the international market.

Our products are designed using both the old techniques of making shawls as well as the most modern and characterized by its unique and spectacular embroidery fibers and fabrics. While the shawls of the highest quality are produced from pure "pashmina" Himalayan (also known as cashmere wool) obtained from a rare species of goat of this range, our collection also has designs crafted with the finest wool Kashmiri, cotton and silk.
